Signature Sirloin Steak with Mash

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

Step 1

Take the steak out from the pack, pat dry and season with salt & pepper on both sides. Heat oil in a large pan. Once hot, add the steak and cook for 2 – 3 minutes on each side or until your desired doneness. Add butter, tilt the pan and baste the steak with butter, for about 1 minute.  Transfer steak and leave to rest for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add broccolini to the steak pan, and season with salt & pepper. Add a splash of water, and put the lid on to steam for 3 minutes or until water has evaporated and broccolini has softened. Set aside.

Step 3

Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to boil and drop in Luke’s Famous Mash Potato. Boil for 3 – 5 minutes. Following package instructions.

Step 4

Slice steak and plate up steak, mash and broccolini. Enjoy!
