This smoked salmon starter is fast to whip up as an impressive appetizer, nothing is more simple than this classic arrangement. The savoury and smokey flavours from the salmon and the creamy fresh creme fraiche complements each other nicely. Great prepared as a party food or canapé starter for entertaining.

Crème Fraiche
Step 1
Finley chop the remainder of dill and chives. Mix all the ingredients together
Step 2
Peel the orange and remove any white pith. Place the orange peel in a plastic or glass container and cover with salt. Cover and place in the fridge for up to 2 days before use. Wash the excess salt from the orange peel and slice finely upon use.
Step 3
To plate, remove the smoked salmon from the pack. Lay the sliced smoked salmon nicely on a plate. Dollop the horseradish crème fraiche around salmon slices.
Step 4
Garnish with micro herbs or dill. Enjoy!
