INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Make the Chimichurri Sauce
- Mince the garlic and shallot and add to a medium bowl.
- Finely chop the parsley and add to the bowl alongside the oregano, salt, red pepper flakes or jalapeno, olive oil and red wine vinegar.
- Stir, taste and season with more salt and red pepper flakes if needed.
- Let it stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Cook the Steaks
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat up garlic butter and rosemary in a medium frying pan.
- Add the steaks and cook until preferred, turning over half way through.
- Remember to keep throwing the butter over steaks to keep them juicy.
- Put them to the side and leave to rest.
Step 3: Make the Sandwich
- Slice the bread.
- Put the bread in the frying pan to soak ip the flavours and make it crispy.
- Butter the bread with the leftover garlic butter.
- Add a handful, of rocket.
- Slice the steaks and lay them on top of the rocket.
- Slice the steaks and lay them on top of the rocket.
- Add the chimichurri sauce.
