This Chinese styled steamed Murray Cod is prepared in the most simplest way and taste incredibly good. It works well with any fresh white whole fish. Steaming the fish is known to be one of the healthiest method of cooking, bringing out the natural flavours of the fish.

Step 1
Place steamer over a pot of boiling water. Season the fish with salt and place on a serving plate. Put the plate into a steamer, cover and steam for 10 – 15 minutes.
Step 2
Once cooked, remove plate from steamer and scatter with ginger, spring onion and garlic
Step 3
Heat oil of your choice in a saucepan and when hot, pour over steamed fish. Heat soy sauce and chicken stock until boiling. Pour soy sauce over fish. Top with coriander to serve (optional). Enjoy!
